Silent Exhaust Systems Inc. (S. E. S.) is a privately owned company specializing in the design and production of economical, high-quality exhaust products for the small equipment industry.
Our plant is a state of the art facility using the latest manufacturing techniques. Cellular manufacturing is used to manufacture subassembly components using semi-automated and robotic welding. Kanban is then used to assembly the final product to meet customer requirements just in time (JIT).
We recognized the need for a high-quality, reasonably priced exhaust configuration for the off-road market, without the requirement for major customer investments in tooling, design and development.
We also recognized that, unlike developments in the on-road sector, there have been no substantive improvements in the design of these exhaust products in many years. We set out to develop mufflers which would address and solve many of the issues plaguing equipment manufacturers, such as requirements for reduced sound levels, better durability and reduction or elimination of undesirable operating characteristics.
